Alta Alella is the smallest wine region in Spain, nestled in the mountains just north of Barcelona. The traditional white grape here is Pansa Blanca, a local variant of Xarel.lo, one of the main grape varieties used to make Cava. We love Pansa Blanca for its fresh, mineral nature with an almost savoury edge.
