For our entry level Marlborough, we were thrilled to find a husband and wife team that really understand what we love so much about Sauvignon Blanc.

Expect classic Marlborough flavours from the off; plenty of green scents and a zinging acidity as well as white flowers, gooseberry and tropical fruit.

A shade softer and more tropical than French styles, we can understand why this is a go-to for so many of our customers.

Named for the ship that first charted the Marlborough coast, Astrolabe Wines is a passion project that celebrates the iconic region.

Winemaker Simon Waghorn has spent the last two decades exploring the terroirs and microclimates that shape the area, working with a number of growers across different sub-regions to find the nuances that make this wine sing. Marlborough’s fantastic coastal location is used to the full, with fully sustainable winemaking bringing out its best qualities.
