Adi Badenhorst has no set recipe for ‘Papegaai’ and the blend changes substantially every year. This year it is apparently Palomino and Semillon, but knowing Adi, there are probably other varieties in there too! It’s always light, fresh and incredibly moreish. A great introduction to the wines of Swartland.
