A fascinating wine which punches well above its weight. Moment of silence has a mineral backbone but a roundness and flavours of apricot, honey, lemon curd, raspberry and even a touch of oak reminiscent of Burgundian Chardonnays.
Winemaker Pieter didn't like people's preconceptions of wine. I don't like Shiraz, or Chardonnay for instance. So he decided to make a wine where he wouldn't disclose the grape varieties and would let people try the wine without any preconceptions. This is the result.
