Cara Sucia is the perfect summer wine. Made with the grape Cereza - which appropriately means cherry in Spanish - a pink skinned variety that imparts only a little colour but a ton of berry fruit flavour.
The grapes are sourced from an old pergola vine planted in 1940 in the heart of the Mendoza winemaking zone. Fermented with native yeasts in concete eggs with no fining or filtration, the care that goes into this wine deserves far more than its £15 price tag.
Great for those who love Pinot Noir or Beaujolais.
