This is beyond a bargain for the quality of the wine. Naturally made - so minimal sulphur, indigenous yeasts and not a hint of chemicals - it's a full bodied, fruity, big hug of a wine packed full of sweet ripe berry fruit, a touch floral and a small amount of cocoa. It's rich and rounded but fresh at the same time.
Casa de Si have made their names in the Australian natural wine movement and wanted to turn their hand to this project in Spain. High altitude Garnacha has something of a cult following in the wine trade for its deliciously easy flavours that come from a very hands on approach (Garnacha left to its own devices lacks concentration and character). This is a couple who have made it work.
