This is a community based project of the highest order. Centopassi buy up land that has been confiscated by Sicily’s government from the Mafia. The land is farmed - and the wines are made -  by those whose lives have been devastated at the hands of said Mafia. All the fruit is farmed organically and some come from very old vines indeed.

Nero D’Avola is probably Sicily’s most well known grape variety. It produces dense, black fruited wines with underlying flavours of baking spices and cocoa.

Grape varieties: Nero D’Avola, Perricone

Winegrowing method: Organic
