This Moscatel is made in Chipiona which is outside the Sherry triangle, so you won't see the word Sherry or Jerez on the bottle.
But you could have fooled us.
This is a deliciously sweet, decadent Sherry in everything but name. It pours thick and has marked flavours of Seville orange marmalade and candied peel. Pairs fantastically well with chocolate dessets.
Unusually for the region, Cesar Florido owns every one of his 21 hectares of land. It's the oldest bodega in the town of Chipiona - which is famous for its sweet Moscatels.
