Les Clos is arguably the best Grand Cru parcel in Chablis. Organically farmed grapes, natural yeasts, only minimal sulphites used. Although delicious now, this is a wine that’s perfect for ageing. Gunflint and limes on the nose, pea shoots and even tropical fruit on the palate. Weighty and powerful, as all wines from Les Clos should be. There may be no better Chablis.
Moreau’s wines have always been in very high demand; this is the first time in 2 years we’ve allocated any at all. They make some of the most singular Chablis we’ve ever come across. Intensely mineral and stony, concentrated beyond belief and all cuvées will age beautifully.
Grape varieties: Chardonnay
