We found this wine on a jaunt to the South of France in 2014, when we were on the hunt for well priced Languedoc wines.
This was the wine that made us seek out Chateau Coujan's other ranges, which were so good we had to bring them all into the UK.
A smoky, wine packed full of dark cherry fruit and a peppery note. There's even a hint of violets. Great now, can benefit be laid down for another 3-5 years to develop further.
Chateau Coujan have been around for 5 generations, occupying a sizeable chunk of land around the beautiful town of Saint Chinian.
