We love Cremant de Limoux for its sheer value. Always made in the Champange or 'traditional' method, it's similar to Champagne with its toasty, complex notes but often a little fruitier and easier to drink. Think somewhere between Champagne and Prosecco. Citrus, a touch of honey, red and green apple, delicious. A bargain.
Domaine Laurens is headed up by a Champagne native who wanted to turn his hand to sparkling wines in the south. They own 30 hectares of land up high in the mountains which retains freshness in the wine.
