We've been looking for our own Champagne for a while now and were delighted to find that Froment Griffon were looking for someone to represent them in the UK.
Their Brut is is classically delicious. It has around 40-45% older reserve wines in the mix, so has more weight and character than some of the bigger Champagne names. it spends between 24 and 30 months ageing before being released, meaning that there are plenty of citrus flavours but with a great biscuit-brioche background.
Froment Griffon have been crafting Champagne in the premier cru village of Sermiers for generations. They own just 6.5 hectares of land which is all farmed sustainably, with the hope to be certified organic in the future. Everything is done by hand and with the upmost care for the environment and for the grapes.
