This is a wine that punches well above its price tag. It's not Sancerre, but it would hands down beat an average bottle from that region, There's a wonderfully smoky, mineral character reminiscent of good central Loire Sauvignon Blancs. Lemon rind, a touch of hedgerow, great stuff.
