Not a ‘Gavi di Gavi’, more a ‘Gavi di Tassarolo’, which denotes that the grapes are from the small village of Tassarolo, nestled deep in central Gavi country.

This is the domain of the Cortese grape, a very expressive variety that when treated well, shows flavours of almond, white flowers, white peach and even a touch of pineapple and anise. Organically grown, fresh and light, one of our favourite value Gavis.
