Andrew and Emma Nielsen are a tiny producer of some of the most exciting wines to be coming out of Burgundy today. They work with small vineyard owners to source fruit from underappreciated sites and their Savigny Les Beaune comes from a small parcel of vines high above the village. That lends the wine an unusual freshness and vibrance complementing its richness and structure. Just 3 barrels of this wine were made and we are very fortunate to have held on to a few bottles which we are now releasing for sale. Truly special.
