Lesc Rouge takes some imposing grape varieties and softens them into a smooth, brambly wine with notes of blackberry and blueberry. It's rounded and easy drinking, a great mid-week wine.

'Co-operative' can be a dirty word in the wine industry. Too often it's code for intensive farming and a focus on bulk that make for, at best, average wines.

Luckily, the co-operative de Saint Mont buck the trend, paying their winemakers by quality, dedicating themselves to sustainability and blending great quality wines.
