A fresher style of Ribera without the influence of heavy oak - it's aged for just 6 months in old American and French oak.
Cherry, clove, liquorice and violets can all be found in this fantastic value wine. It's complex, fresh, bright and the good acidity means you can drink glass after glass.
Made by 'micro-winery' Quinta Milu who work with minimal intervention to retain a good purity of fruit. They work with old Tempranillo - or Tinto del Pais as the locals call it - vines and still tread by foot. Milu's vineyards are high in altitude- up to 900m - and uses indigenous yeasts in the winemaking process. All in all, this is one of the best value wines we've come across in Ribera del Duer
