Paddy Borthwick is one of the most exciting new winemakers in New Zealand. He made wine all over the world before returning to his native New Zealand and uses the experience gained working alongside some of the best winemakers in the world to craft authentic wines that are distinctively New Zealand.
His Pinot Noir is grown on land that has been in the Borthwick family for more than 100 years in Wairarapa - in the southern part of the north island. It shows incredible finesse and balance with lovely ripe red cherry fruit and a touch of sweet spice. Light on its feet but with plenty of concentration, it is a great example of New Zealand Pinot Noir.
