Qunita de Raza has been family owned since the 17th Century, with 40 hectares in a great spot. Unusual schist and clay soils give the wine character whilst a lucky microclimate drenches the vines in sunshine for a bright, fresh note.
Like most Vinho Verdes, there's a little fizz to the wine, adding to the zinging, fresh acidity.
In the mouth there are flavours of pear drops and aromatic notes of lemon and lime peel. With low alcohol, it's perfect for an unhurried summer lunch or as an unexpected aperitif.
Grape varieties: Arinto, Azal, Trajadura
