Ridge are truly an American classic.
Very little has changed in Ridge's winery, viticulture and even branding in the last 50 or so years. Classy to a T, we're delighted to announce that we have a small amount of their Geyserville 2016 in stock.
Geyserville is a blend of 73% Zinfandel, 17% Carignane, 7% Petite Sirah and 3% Alicante Bouschet. It heralds from a single vineyard site, Geyserville, in the Alexander Valley region of Sonoma County. Ridge have been making Geyserville every year since 1966.
Aged for 12 months in barrel, this is a full bodied wine with flavours of plum, black cherry and bramble fruit. Smooth and fruity but with complexity, concentration and energy.
Vegan friendly, only a light filtration at bottling, organically grown fruit, Ridge are the masters of low intervention Californian wines.
